Hi and welcome back to all of us again, Marcie May! You might never know how much your words have meant to people you are most likely never going to meet. But....they mean so much and I can't say enough how much I appreciate your gift. I hope you will continue to take care of yourself and your family and hold onto them tightly in these most difficult times. I am a lady who has been through my share of ups and downs over the past 72 years, but in these current times, I carry a lot of fear and dread for what is to come. My prayer is that I will outlive all the hatefulness, meanness, and sheer stupidity that we seem to be surrounded by. I intend to purposely seek joy and not let life be sucked out of me by cruel and heartless humans who have no idea of what genuine Christianity entails. I'll continue to care, love, and support those who fight for a just future, a safe space to exist, and a place where all can thrive. Thank you again for your inspiring (and sometimes humorous) words!
One thing I really love about you….you tell it like it is! No ‘beating round the bush’, no sugar coating, never ‘iffy’. We get the raw truth. I’m looking real forward to these love letters 😊
DEEPLY here for the name change. How you keep on being able to lift our spirits in the horrors *even while talking about the horrors and your own added challenges* is a miracle. So happy to be here. And thank you. And no need to ever apologize for being absent. We're all here for you when you're ready xxxx
Augh--so sorry all the extra hard you are walking through on top of everything else. Thank you for the reminder there is still goodness and love to be found. Love this and YOU Marcie May. Here for the full, unapologetic, YOU always.
You are loving through your writing to all of us. Joy is still there. I sense it in your honest writing. It’s waiting to be discovered. May mending happen. May a new home be found. May the sun keep rising. And may joy seep through.
Hi Marcie May. Thank you Simon for the font it's exquisite!
Yes to love letters which you've been writing in some form or another - your litanies that I go back to time and time again to breathe. Your bedtime children's stories videos. Praise and prayers for this new voyage.
honestly I've been having trouble finding glimmers right now but the sun has come out after 5 days of rain today is our last day of voting. Whither way this country goes we will know tomorrow.
I'm actually crying about the flat that you've invited us into over the years and praying someone reading can open a new door.
Wow, you’ve been dealing with LOTS in addition to watching the dumpster fire that is the current administration!! I’m astounded that you can put a sentence onto paper , nevermind write so eloquently and insightfully. Thank you for reminding us that joy and resilience are available to us all. Looking forward to hearing more from you Marcie May 😍
Trust me Joanne, I'm surprised I can string together sentences too. I wouldn't say an eloquent or insightful sentences but they are sentences which is more than I can say for the head of this current administration 🖤🖤
Ayyyyy Marcie May YEEEEAAAAHHH!!!! I LOVE IT!!! LET'S GO!!!!! Love letters like arrows knocking down walls!!!
sending you all the hearts... 💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘
🎯🎯🎯 Happy to take the journey with you. There’s one thing I know for sure: life is always “Yes, and…” Thank you for shepherding.
"Yes, and..." one of my favorite improv notes of life.
